  Tried this place out this past Saturday night after looking at Yelp reviews. We used to go to Greek Corner near Roosevelt Field but they recently closed down. We arrived at around 7:00 and waited a few minutes to sit. Once we were seated it took a waiter over 10 minutes to come to our table. That was fine since it gave us time to check out the menu. When he arrived we ordered spanikopita as an app and 4 gyro sandwiches with fries. He warned us the kitchen was backed up today and our food might take 15 minutes but he would bring us a breadbasket right away and our app would be out shortly. 20 minutes later we get a breadbasket from a busboy. Another 15 minutes later the waiter passes by and my wife asks about our app. He says they dropped it in the kitchen and were baking a new batch. Another 10 minutes later we get our app. It was almost room temp. All of us were starving so we ate it. More waiting. When we arrived the place was full but by now it was half empty (8:40 or so) and we didn't order anything extravagant. Another eternity later we get our gyros and fries. All of the gyros were warm but not hot except my oldest son's which was room temp. He wanted to send it back but decided not to wait forever. The gyro meat slices are cut really thin and were overcooked but the sandwich was not hot so I suppose it sat under a heat lamp for a while. We had to also pick out still frozen fries from our plates of french fries. How do frozen and cooked fries get mixed is beyond me. The cooked fries were crispy though. Another eternity for the check and to charge the debit card. Finally leave at almost 9:30pm. Maybe they had some kitchen staff callout sick or we just went on a bad night but the lack of an attentive waiter and the food not being hot killed any chance of us returning. The table next to us was also complaining. The search for good Greek food continues for us.

  It used to be a diner but now it's a slightly nicer Greek restaurant, however the restaurant still has the casual feel of a diner. The menu is made up of mostly Greek favorites, but you can still find common diner American favorites (e.g. Burgers). The food was great! If you're in the mood for quick, casual Greek fair than this is your spot.

  Great Food and Service. If you want a new Greek place, this is a place to try. Also they have rice pudding, you can't beat that! Lol
